SEASON OPENING IN LUXEMBOURG

This week Christoph König and the Solistes Européens Luxembourg
are going
to open the new season with a very special concert featuring the
magnificent Chinese gu zheng player Yuan Li in a programme called « Europe meets China » containing:
Tan Dun (*1957) - Concerto for Zheng and String Orchestra
Boris Blacher (1903-1975) - Concertante Musik
Ye Xiaogang (*1955) - Printemps dans la Forêt, for Zheng solo
Antonin Dvořák (1841-1904) - Symphony n°8

The spanish radio symphony orchestra and choir have just appointed Maestro Christoph König as their next chief conductor.
