This week Christoph König travels to Kuala Lumpur to conduct the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra for the first time in a programme exploring the link between the German Romantic Carl Maria von Weber and French music. The concert takes place in one of the finest concert venues in the world, the fantastic Dewan Filharmonik Petronas . In two concerts on Friday and Saturday, the orchestra is going to play WEBER Freischütz Overture, HINDEMITH Weber Metamorphosen, MESSIAEN Les Offrandes Oubliées, and DEBUSSY La Mer.
