This week sees Christoph König return to the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra for the 4th time after his début with the orchestra 5 years ago which was also his début on American soil. He is grateful that the orchestra took the chance to engage him for the first time in the US, and that’s perhaps the reason why he has a very special relationship with this orchestra. In a rather unfamiliar but romantic programme the orchestra is going to play Dohnanyi The Veil of the Pierrette and Dvorak’s 5th Symphony, Stefan Jackiw is going to play Dvorak Romance and Ravel Tsigane.
