Salle Erasme, Strasbourg.

In a predominantly contemporary programme , the ORQUESTRA SINFÓNICA DO PORTO CASA DA MUSICA has enjoyed a wonderful success at the closing concert of the MUSICA Festival Strasbourg . Finishing the concert and the entire festival with Schönberg’s “Erwartung”, the orchestra opened with a new piece by the young Portuguese composer Daniel Moreira , and continued with the “Double Piano Concerto” by Bruno Mantovani , one of the leading French composers of the younger generation. The reaction of the press was very positive:

“Le soir, le magnifique Orchestre Symphonique de Porto, galvanisé par Christoph König, commence lui aussi par une création signée Daniel Moreira et intitulée Paysage du temps.”

“The evening, the magnificent Symphony Orchestra Porto too, electrified by Christoph König, starts with a creation of Daniel Moreira.”
