Christoph König returns to London for two concerts with the  Royal Philharmonic Orchestra .
On the  programme : Rachmaninov’s masterpiece Symphony No. 2, Wagner Meistersinger Vorspiel, and Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.

Next week Christoph König returns to the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra  conducting a programme with the title “Dedication”, including Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3, Ravel’s “Le Tombeau de Couperin”, and Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2, once again acclaimed French-Canadian pianist Louis Lortie. This week Christoph König conducts the first time the WASO  in Perth in a programme predominantly dedicated to Antonín Dvořák, featuring the seldom played but exceptionally beautiful Water Goblin (“Vodnik” - “Der Wassermann”), and his Symphony no. 7. This week Christoph König conducts the first time the Seattle Symphony Orchestra   in a very special programme featuring the seldom played Zemlinsky Seejungfrau (Mermaid), and Tchaikovsky’s evergreen Piano Concerto No. 1, with outstanding George Li.
