DRESDEN: Amazing calling card of König’s art of conducting

… König worked a lot using spontaneous motivation, muffled here and there brisk winds and demanded active engagement, especially in the finale of the symphony. This was not only a great calling card of König’s art of conducting, but he also fully advocated the [less well known] works with his name. Such a compelling persuasiveness, which also transmitted itself immediately to the musicians, is a wonderful thing, and was honoured by the audience with a strong applause.
