LATEST NEWS – DÉBUT WITH THE DANISH RADIO SYMPHONY

There is another exciting début: Christoph König conducts the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra for the first time in a programme of Brahms 2nd Symphony, Debussy Petite Suite and the Paganini Violin Concerto No. 1 in the version of Kreisler. The concert takes place in the Koncerthuset , Jean Nouvel’s unique and famous building which is said to have one of the best acoustics in the world.

Und wieder gibt es ein spannendes Debüt: Christoph König dirigiert zum ersten Mal das Dänische Radio-Sinfonie-Orchester in Kopenhagen. Auf dem Programm: Brahms Zweite Sinfonie, Debussy Petite Suite und das Paganini Violin-Konzert Nr. 1 in der Kreisler-Version. Das Konzert findet im Koncerthuset statt, Jean Nouvel’s einmaligem und berühmtem Gebäude mit einer der besten Akustiken der Welt.

This week Christoph König returns to Warsaw conducting the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra - Filharmonia narodowa in a very diverse programme containing Respighi`s Belfagor Overture, Kancheli`s Styx for Viola Solo, Choir and Orchestra featuring Lawrence Power (viola), and Strauss` Also sprach Zarathustra.
