This week Christoph König returns to London to conduct the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, at the Bridgewater Hall Manchester, and at the Corn Exchange Cambridge. The performances feature Beethoven’s Third and Sixth (Pastoral) Sympmhonies and Coriolan Ouverture, soloist in Elgar’s Violin Concerto is the venerated Pinchas Zukerman, one of the last real icons in classical music today.
